Imagine being able to print money and buy assets. Sounds criminal to me.
This is basically communism.
The U.S. should have laws against foreign central banks printing money and then buying large stakes in U.S. businesses. It should be pretty obvious why.

As things fail, authoritarianism tends to increase in popularity. I see it on both the "right" and the "left."
Liberty becomes less popular, not more popular, as things fail. This is my biggest concern going forward.

Bad people crave power more than good people, and are also willing to do anything to get it. So bad people are in power.
Why is this so complicated for some people?
That's the current game. How do we change the game fundamentally? We reduce power concentrations and opportunity for power concentrations. We also flip the relationship between the public and the powerful. The powerful should be examined closely, not the other way around.
This sums it up perfectly.

QIMA has more than just anecdotal evidence. Demand for their China-based audits dropped by 13% as mainland manufacturers are either losing their foreign clients faster due to costs associated with tariffs or are relocating manufacturing out of China to avoid those tariffs.
