This @nytimes front page reflects the view of its senior leadership, which has clearly learned nothing since Bush-Iraq or 2016-emails or 2017-Comey.
The front page center piece “defines what you, as an editor, believe is the single most important topic in your community that day.”

In it choice to frame Trump’s racism as though it were in doubt, @nytimes senior editors and, more than likely, its publisher, have chosen @jayrosen_nyu’s aptly labeled view from no where.
“the View from Nowhere is a bid for trust that advertises the viewlessness of the news producer”

The @nytimes will NEVER be trusted by Trump or his supporters.

I understand that historians dislike this framing, but that headline will not age well. And news judgment like this does not serve democracy well.

So much for “speak truth to power.”
@nytimes This is the paper that will be on newsstands around the country. But the second edition is different, per @sdkstl
And a reminder of how news organizations set political agenda/frames from @joshsternberg

The creative revisions are worth reading a Twitter search on NYTimes

Adding insult to injury
