In it choice to frame Trump’s racism as though it were in doubt, @nytimes senior editors and, more than likely, its publisher, have chosen @jayrosen_nyu’s aptly labeled view from no where.

The @nytimes will NEVER be trusted by Trump or his supporters.
I understand that historians dislike this framing, but that headline will not age well. And news judgment like this does not serve democracy well.
