I am really not here for the praise of Neil Cavuto because he very briefly pushed back against Trump after a career spent pushing blatantly conservative propaganda along with his other colleagues at Fox News.

Y'all need to raise your standards for character moments.
I'm also not convinced this isn't sleight-of-hand meant to provide cover for Fox on the other 23 hours, 58 minutes, and 30 seconds of their daily coverage.
Any Fox News Personality: I wonder if Trump may be mistaken on this particular statement.

Some Liberals: OMG THIS IS A PROFILE IN COURAGE
Shout-out to journalists who were holding Trump accountable years before he started shoving children into cages and didn't need to be personally insulted to give a Sorkin address on national television.

In early 2012, I had just been medically-retired from the military and living in my friend's house in D.C. and trying to come to grips with my dream of an Army career being put to bed. But I was also struggling with something else, and I didn't know how to talk about it. (thread)
I had long known by then that I'm transgender--knew it from the time I was a kid that something was incongruent but didn't know the word "transgender" or how to articulate what I was feeling. But I hadn't accepted it + I kept thinking to myself: maybe I'm not trying hard enough?
That is... I felt that maybe I wasn't trying hard enough to be at peace with the traditional gender expressions of my sex assigned at birth. Be happy with what you have, etc. Be grateful. I remember this being very heavily on my mind one day when I came across an article online.

"Moneyball" is a wild movie to watch because you find yourself rooting for this very interesting mathematical approach to winning baseball games versus an underlying disgust that the basis for success in the story is intentionally undervaluing labor + effectively exploiting that.

Barr testified today that he will not give Congress an unredacted report

The constitutional issue is this:
1/ Who gets to decide whether a president is guilty?
Congress, or the Attorney General appointed by the president?

Article I, § 2, cl. 5 gives the House of Representatives “the sole power of impeachment.” archives.gov/founding-docs/…
So under the Constitution, Congress decides.

Nadler promises that if Barr doesn’t give an unredacted report to Congress, he'll issue a subpoena & fight it out in court.

Rep Schiff, too, requested the unredacted report, so the Dems are "fighting a two-front war.”
