Often as a result of their activism political prisoners are the recipients of awards from around the world as their efforts are recognised by human rights organisations & nations not their own. #JulianAssange is one such prisoner.

The Sydney Peace Foundation awarded its ‘Medal for Peace with Justice’ to WikiLeaks co-founder #JulianAssange. The citation reads, ‘For exceptional courage and initiative in pursuit of human rights.’.
