"He conveyed he is comfortable with the decision he made," @BradWilsonGOP says. "We expressed we would have maybe come to some different conclusions."

Did Romney indicate he's worried about support in Utah? "I wouldn't characterize it that way," Wilson says. @fox13 #utpol #utleg

Is @SenatorRomney still representing most Utahns?

"He'll be representing Utahns for a number of years," @BradWilsonGOP says. "My instincts tell me there's a lot of people unhappy with the Senator." @fox13 #utpol #utleg

.@RepTimQuinn tells me that over the past 24 hours, there is A LOT of interest in his recall bill. He acknowledged a lot of it is coming from out of state. @fox13 #utpol #utleg

Meanwhile, as proof we are in the upside down, @RepBrianKing is praising @SenatorRomney for his vote to convict President Trump. He calls it a "profile in courage."

Republicans here on Capitol Hill I've talked to who are not fans of Trump have mixed feelings on @SenatorRomney's vote. But they ARE worried about the President exacting some kind of revenge (remember, we've got LOTS of federal lands and we do get federal $$).

Asked about the recall bill, @JStuartAdams questions its constitutionality. He says he wants to focus on local issues.

@Sen_Stevenson says the Senate GOP caucus hasn't really had any discussions about it, but he personally thinks they may be more "divisive."

Asked about the idea that @RepTimQuinn's bill to recall a U.S. Senator might be unconstitutional, Sen. Vickers interrupts and says: "not might, it IS."

"It very clearly is unconstitutional."

"Let's focus on the things that make a difference," @JStuartAdams says. #utpol

"We may have a little difference on approach, but this is not something we need to dwell on," Sen. Vickers says.

So the Utah Senate GOP majority is OVER IT.
