The Secret Service is now involved in the forensic examination of multiple electronic devices seized from Pedrosa.
Due to potential conflict of interest, Miami-Dade State Attorney @KathyFndzRundle’s office will not be prosecuting Pedrosa. It will be assigned to Broward County @SAMikeSatz.
Pedrosa was caught lying about having no prior convictions on his city application in December 2018, which is a felony. Instead of being fired or prosecuted, a month later, @MiamiMayor allowed him to change his answer from no to yes and add his two prior DUIs.
