A very similar and repugnant tactic was used in #AhmetAltan’s case. It appears to amount to naked abuse of the court system by way of harassment.

ISIS have just released a new video (Circa 1 hour ago) from #Turkey. Although this video is similar to others- namely a few masked indivuals pledging allegience to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, they are substantially better armed than some previous videos.

Ofc, Turkey is in close proximity to multiple conflicts so there's high quantities of arms available, particularly from greater Idlib &t he conflict with the PKK.

Let's start with what's behind: A SVD DMR, PKM MG, & RPG-7 with a potent PG-7VM warhead, likely Bulgarian-made.

The other arms appear to be two AKMS variants- I'd assume Russian or Romanian AKMS, along with Eastern Bloc Grenades- likely F1 or UZRGM grenades as well as a Glock, which is probably a G19 Gen3.

So what does this signify of their capabilties? And where are they from?

A lot has changed, unfortunately for “worse”, when it comes to #AKP in #Turkey Since the Attempted Coup. The admin has been penetrated & coopted by some very bad “snakes.” They have destroyed & eliminated media- completely. But they are digging their own grave(s).
One good example: #TRTWorld eating up hundreds of millions of dollars from #Turkey taxpayers a year: To be 1000000 X Worse than Soviet’s #Pravda during communism. All this in the last 2 years escalating.

I'm starting a new thread on the naẓar amulet for protection against the Evil Eye. Now, the Evil Eye and the symbolism surrounding it is a widely acknowledged and historically relevant phenomenon across many cultures, so I'm just going to focus on the blue-eyed glass talismans.
Our journey starts in ancient #Mesopotamia, where 100s of votive figures were found in the excavation of the temple of Tell Brak. The most exclusive feature of these idols were their eyes. These amulets go back to 3300 BC and are the oldest eye amulets discovered.
The Evil Eye is a common term to refer to a specific curse being cast, intentional or unintentional, by the jealous looks of others towards the success of the one they envy. The ocular amulet is than in fact the charm meant to ward off the true Evil Eye.
