Since everyone is taking about the importance of the black vote, I hope every candidate will detail how their policies would close the black wealth gap, address black poverty & low wealth, ensure black health care & defend against racist voter suppression.
We want to hear how policies will increase black representation on federal courts, end unequal mass incarceration & school resegragation, fight to increase black representation in the US Senate & protect black communities vs ecological devastation.
Addressing systemic racism is about more than a black VP or AG. It’s about policy. And when we look at impact of policy, racism & poverty are inseparable. We need to see antiracist plans in writing.
