2....ventilators are not just something you shove into someone and then walk away. Every two people on ventilators require one person to monitor. That's why people on ventilators are in the ICU. And we dont have enough nurses or ICU beds for "lots" of new ventilators. So, if we..

5...we cant get them, federal rules dont allow for just running out and buying ANYTHING, but particularly military and medical equipment (can you imagine if the feds bought thousands of non-functioning ventilators that kill people?), and again....
6...and again, there aren't ventilators lying around in warehouses. They have to be made. What's the manufacturing capability of ventilator makers? Do they have the parts and devices needed to be assembled to make a ventilator? (I have no idea. But I seriously doubt it.)....
7...how many ventilators are manufactured in Europe, which will keep them. How many in China - or how many of the parts are made in China - which is now cutting off the USA because of this "China Virus" Republican talking point to make the Fox News viewers' blood boil....
