It can never be allowed to be forgotten that the British government, during this crisis, have consistently pursued a policy of mass death (or increased vulnerability to death) for a substantial, particular section of the population.
They have tried to tut, nudge, brief and bluster their way through this crisis while carefully trying to maintain plausible deniability and distance the state from liability to the fallout, which will be beyond our imagination.
They offer bailouts for big business and protections for landlords while further pushing private renters into debt, precarity or homelessness in the middle of crisis in which thousands are losing their jobs every day. They leave frontline health workers without gear or tests.
This is beyond negligence. It is beyond incompetence. It is a continuation and intensification of the disregard for the human lives that they rule over. They disdain us and make this clear every day with all that they say and all that they do. And I want revenge.
