1. Forget the polls for a moment. They are fine to watch and retweet and are interesting in a horse race kind of way. However, just forget about them for the moment. Regardless of if they are right or wrong. Just act as if they don't exist for a moment.
2. As I have stated numerous times over the last year, 2018 will be a base election.The Dem's actions of resistance has made it so. There is no middle ground,no moderates. Every position Trump and the GOP have taken the Dems have opposed, even positions they pushed before Trump
3. Because of this resistance and failure by the Dems to reach across the aisle and work for the common good, the Dems have set up a base election. They have called out their mob. They have harassed those that oppose them. Their fake media has pushed this resistance.
4. So, we have a base election on our hands. What does that mean? It means the side that better gets their base to the polls wins. It's a matter of turnout.
5. Don't be fooled. The Dems haven't attracted new voters. The voters are the same as those in 2016. The Dems hope to turnout at 2016 presidential levels for a midterm. This is important. As long as the GOP matches the increased turnout they win. It's that simple.
6. If you voted in 2016 you need to vote in 2018. Whatever moderates are left in the country will pick one side or the other based on if they like the economy, the tone in DC, bullying, etc. 2018 is not a moderate election.
7. The primaries showed where the GOP and Dems were weak when it came to turnout. Dems were strong in places like VA, NJ, MN, WA and WI. GOP was strong in places like TN, AZ,TX, FL, OH. Of course this was before Kavanaugh and that may change things.
8. Trump's rallies are a quick reference on where the GOP thinks it needs a push to nudge up turnout. Don't look at just which state but also where in the state he goes.
9. Another positive the GOP has is they knew it would be a turnout election and have invested 100's of millions in voter outreach and GOTV efforts. They are breaking records with each.
10. The biggest positive the Dems have remains the fake media. 92% negative coverage of POTUS, the coverup of the dems mob activity, the attacks and constant smears on people like Trump, Kavanuagh and West.
11. They also are spending tons of money on ads, and GOTV. The media is covering for their candidates too by not reporting fairly. It is what it is.
12. So forget the polls and instead concentrate on GOTV efforts. Volunteer if you can, make phone calls, offer rides to the polls. Spread the great news on what Trump and the GOP have accomplished in such a short time. Ignore the "muh we are all doomed" crowd. Just go vote.
