So sweet - POTUS invites some elderly Holocaust survivors up onto the platform, and VP leaves his spot to go help them up. Instinctive. Future President Pence is so like 41. I love him.
There are two Hanukkah receptions today. This is the 4pm one. I hope the 8pm reception is more like last year's, which was really beautiful and dignified. I'm sure it will be.

Unseen by most, Ivanka Trump touched her hand of support and care on Andrew Pollack's back as the President spoke about the evil of antisemitism. Beautiful.
Oops, spoke too soon. I think it was his wife standing next to him. I only saw the woman's blonde hair and right arm. It's definitely something I've seen Ivanka do, showing support for a guest at an event.
The words of Andrew Pollack about this President's friendship of the Jewish people were great. I can't wait to find a clip of those remarks.
