2. US @USSOCOM forces continue to patrol in the areas north of Manbij near the Sajur River line of demarcation. Peaceful for now. US Apache gunships fly above the US forces that are positioned near a mixed force of regular Turkish army, Grey Wolf & Jihadist incl Al-Qaeda & ISIS.
3. West of Manbij near Arima is where it gets unclear. Yesterday's reports of a large column of regime irregular forces has today been supplemented with reports of regular SAA forces. It's important to note that at least the areas to the south of Arimah has had
4. regime forces for several months. The current inflow if the reports are true is a significant change in Syrian regime force strength. But I caution that Syria sent a similar force towards Afrin only to give way to the jihadist attack and subsequent ethnic cleansing & pillage.
