1. This is such bad journalism and it shows the DC media has learned nothing from Hillary Clinton's emails.

So here's a short thread on why.
2. The story is not what it claims to be. It seeks to create controversy where there is none. In fact, the premise of the article is that this is a huge controversy among Democrats.

The Post reporters suggest that it is -- literally -- twice.
3.
Example #1: "The question is whether Democratic primary voters will punish Warren for actions for which she has apologized."

Example #2: "The more immediate problem Warren faces is within her own party."
4. Okay. So let's take a look at the evidence compiled by the reporters to back up this claim of intra-party controversy. Is this really an immediate problem for Warren among Democrats?

What follows are the quotes they got from Democrats.
5. Quote #1 is a mild critique at best. It is not, in any way, a harsh indictment.

"Clearly it wasn’t the appropriate thing to do ... I think she has more to say on that." --Aimee Allison, founder of She the People
6. Quote #2 is neither an indictment nor a harsh critique. There's no controversy.

"There is probably time for [Warren's team] to develop a better, more coherent and powerful story to deal with this. But they have to do it in short order." --Joel Benenson, Democratic pollster
7. Quote #3 speaks for itself.

"[Warren is] a tremendous ally for Native Americans." --Rep. Deb Haaland (D-NM), one of two Native American women serving in Congress
8. Finally, Quote #4 is about as weak as it gets for a "Dems in disarray" argument. But here we are.

"I think she’s going to continue to be asked questions about that." --Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii)
9. Again, as the actual quotes show, the press is making this a controversy. Warren is widely respected among Democrats and there is zero evidence this will cost her primary votes.

As with Hillary's emails, the controversy is GOP-driven. And the media is falling for it.
