My quick searches on fec.gov show that the owner of the poultry processor (Peco Foods LLC, Hickman family) that was raided by ICE in Alabama is a big donor to the the GOP. Huh. Go figure. washingtonpost.com/immigration/ic…
*sorry technically the raids were in Mississippi but the company is Alabama based

Ironically, just days before the #CambridgeAnalytica scandal broke last spring, SCL Group had presented research to State Dept’s Global Engagement Center about Counterpointing Digital Propaganda with their TAA methods, once export controlled by UK government. #TheGreatHack
And weirdly enough this contract to SCL Group for CVE (Countering Violent Extremism) with TAA (Target Audience Analysis) seems to have been secured no-bid/sole-source while Mike Flynn had previously undisclosed consulting gig with SCL Group. #TheGreatHack
SCL Insights Ltd is the last-standing SCL company, led by Nigel Oakes, who acquired assets from SCL Group before it went into administration. Sensitive security-clearanced clients and personnel were probably swept into this company. fastcompany.com/90381366/the-m…

Okay, getting a lil annoyed at the D2020 candidates' spiels about free higher ed and student debt. Here's a #LibertarianSocialist view on this, 3 simple points:

(A) federal support for teaching colleges
(B) universal sabbaticals
(C) free market if you aren't into college (1/8)
As to (A), it would be pretty stupid to just give people tuition to any college or university, if for no other reason than that the cost of a credit hour has far outstripped inflation. We need a nation-wide system of colleges that offer quality education, (2/8)
pay the instructors a living wage, and aren't profit-generators and/or the playthings of wealthy donors where the executives are living large and throwing wine and cheese parties. We need schools that focus on that, and that's what we should pay for. (3/8)

Second: The actual experts do not agree with you, and your fear-mongering is likely causing more harm than good.
