@BreitbartNews Besides there being no there, there; this is the biggest reason Pelosi is failing:

Impeachment isn't a legal fight. It's a political fight. You can have all the lawyers dig for all the laws "broken". You can craft a narrative based on that "illegal" activity. It doesn't matter.

Unless it's a High Crime or some massive corrupt abuse of power. Some action that the people can "sense" is deeply wrong on a moral/political level you will not be able to impeach without a massive political backlash. The House could impeach Trump for jaywalking if they wanted.

Jaywalking would fit under the large "legal" umbrella that is "high crimes and misdemeanors". However, impeachment isn't a legal battle, it's a political battle. Many POTUS "stretched" the law or were morally questionable but were never impeached because the people would not...

...support such a move politically. And if the House did carry it out they would soon be out of power. For whatever reason the dems "forgot" this. They have looked at and planned this "impeachment strategy" as one of a "legal" nature.

They seem to have forgotten the political part. Maybe they were counting on the fake media doing that job for them. Personally, I think their blind spot comes from their failure to understand the power of social media and the lack of power of the fake media.

Regardless of the reason, it's clear they have not factored that into their strategy and/or their plan to deal with that part has failed.

Trump meanwhile has fought this mostly on the political level and he is kicking their ass.
