After Months of promising to review all the information regarding the Accusations made against Prime Minister Netanyahu, AG Mandelblit made a decision — really to not make a decision. He chose to let the complaints stand and referred them for Trial. 2)

Now, I am not a mind reader. I cannot tell you with any real certainty what the AG’s thoughts were.

But I think I know enough about the issues, and enough about human nature, that I can make a very good guess. 3)

Mandelblit did what a lot of cowards do. He looked at the facts of the cases (1000-4000), read the statements provided by foreign judicial experts (including Dershowitz) all of who said the complaints are based on opinion & not fact, ... 4)

...reviewed the data from the police, looked over the statements of the Defense team,

And then he thought about what kind of onslaught he and his family would have to endure if he dismissed the cases (the recommendation, by the way, of the experts who supplied opinions),...5)

...and he chooses to remove himself from the controversy by passing on it, by sending it to the Courts, which will schedule hearings and take another year or so to come to any rational end to this game, and then someone else will have to deal with it. 6)

That is what a Coward does. Very sad.

In the meantime, this game has affected two Israeli elections, leaving no government in place, and leaving to the prospect of more chaos. 7)

...And, you really believe another election will solve the problems caused by politicians that care more about getting those exorbitant Knesset and Ministerial salaries and perks (the 5th highest in the world) then they do about the people. 8)

& Chaos means real problems go unsolved. & Chaos means the foreign investmt will stop & wait & see. & Chaos will mean possibly that the enemies of Israel & the Jewish People will take advantage to create more difficulties, politically, economically & in terms of int'l relations.

But who cares, right? The lawyers are happy, as they have demonstrated how they really run things, The media will be happy. Lots more to speculate about by the “talking heads”, the pundits, who have rarely if ever been proven right.

Or this can be turned to good. Like, how about political change that makes the connection of MK’s to the voters at least important than loyalty to party leaders? How about reform in the Police to prevent abuse of power and political leanings of investigations? 11)

And how about a change in the Courts to correct overreach and to make the system more democratic. And how about dealing with real problems like the cost of housing, population concentration vs dispersal, a more effective defense strategy against terrorism? 12)

Or is this just going to be government paralysis?

You see, I don't care about whether you like Netanyahu or not, whether you criticize him or not, whether you agree with his policies or not. 13)

I do care that the Jewish Nation have a legal system, a police force, a court system, that does not make us ashamed, that is not a political tool of those with influence & wealth, & that operates on the basis that everyone is under the same law,...

... that everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and that when guilt and innocence is being judged it be judged on evidence, not opinion, not political bias or advantage - on fact along. 15)

And, seriously, I wonder how many of Israel's leaders, past or present, could stand the kind of treatment that Netanyahu has been under? From what I know alone, and that is limited, a lot of them would have been in prison for much worse than Bibi is accused of. 16)
