1) Mobilisation de nombreux acteurs pour mener un essai en temps réel et robuste, c'est un protocole de grande ampleur

But : générer de la puissance statistiques dans les résultats. Ce qu'il manque aujourd'hui.

A lot of attention has landed on face masks since the #COVIDー19 outbreak, so a short explainer.p
PHE and WHO guidance generally recommended two types of masks:

Fluid resistant surgical masks and eye protection for general contact with suspected/confirmed patients

FFP2 mask / N95 masks for aerosol generating procedures
For the first type, they're secured with either behind the head straps or ear loops. They're not tight fitting, but in combination with a face shield should protect against general respiratory droplets.t

Ground report from my pulmonologist friend working at NY hospital ... #Covid. “These are truly unprecedented times. we are full disaster operations mode. We have seen a big surge of cases & the hospital is running out of beds & ventilators.
Our surge icu we specially opened on many floors are already full. The worst hasn’t even happened yet bc it’s projected to surge in 1 month but we are already rationing our supplies and masks and gloves. 😿
Estimated we are running out of all PPE in 2/3 weeks. 🙀
We have suspended all outpatient operations, cancelled all PTO, and made multiple staffing contingency plans assuming our work force is going to shrink due to quarantine and exposures (and sadly sickness). 😿 It feels like we are living in wartime right now.

Today marks the third day of protest against the third incidence of violence against doctors in Bangalore. Context : On Friday, despite it being a public holiday and required hours only till 1, post graduates and house surgeons kept the Out-Patient department open till 4. 1/n
This was due to the expected increase in number of eye injuries in response to Diwali. Around 3, a group of 35 people affiliated to Karnataka Rakshaka Vedike barged into Minto Hospital, The Regional Institute of Opthalmology and into Out Patient cabins. 2/n
The group headed by a half baked actress Ashwini Gowda came pre prepared with cameras and started harassing a post graduate from out of the state demanding she answer all their complex questions in Kannada which had to do with operations done a month ago. 3/n
