Yesterday, we asked @CoryBooker “Do you believe the Occupation is a human rights crisis for Palestinians?” He got visibly frustrated.

He admits: “If that's your issue I would understand if you want to support somebody else”

Looks like he’s choosing @AIPAC over the grassroots.
.@CoryBooker is refusing to even use the word “Occupation” and is sending a clear message to American Jews & the Democratic base — for now, he’s with @AIPAC and will continue the same failed policy approach that’s led to 52 years of Israeli military rule over the Palestinians.
Booker’s close relationship with @AIPAC is not new, nor is he ashamed of it. In a closed door session at AIPAC’s Conference in March, Booker said that he and AIPAC’s President “text back and forth like teenagers.” theintercept.com/2019/03/30/cor…
Booker: “I know that that's a question that you've been asking every presidential candidate.”

Yes, we’re asking every candidate how they will address the crisis of Occupation. And we won’t stop until we get some real answers, not just @AIPAC and @DemMaj4Israel talking points.
We need everyone to build the movement to push Democrats to take meaningful action to pressure the Israeli government to end its military Occupation of the Palestinian people.
