Interesting ramifications. How will Coal India deter competition? By cutting prices of course. But will it be allowed to? It’s a PSU, remember?
If it does cut prices to deter competition, there may be a case for other coal miners to complain against Coal India for anti-competitive practices. After all, Coal India has a huge advantage over others as the article points out: It paying nothing for the mines.
But it suffers from a huge disadvantage too: high labour costs thanks to a bloated workforce and above-market wages.

Given that earnings retention is functionally equivalent to a 100% dividend payout followed by a fully-subscribed rights issue, there is a lot of equity mobilization that takes place every year. Far more than dividend payments.
The problem is not issuance of new capital (net of dividends). Rather the problem is unwillingness by companies retaining earnings to do capex.
And I don’t think we should blame companies for refusing to make significant investment of retained earnings in capex that will expand capacity, that is, growth capex. They will invest when they see the benefits of making those investments.

The data we have (from @VividSeats) is truly incredible. In every county, we have a record of the share of concert/etc ticket sales that fall into each genre in 2015/19. Here's that map (with each county scaled for population). Cities like rap/hip hop. Rural areas like country.
The music genre that most correlates with Republican vote share is, as you might expect, country music. A preference for "New Age" music (whatever that is) and Rock are also "red". Rap, Hip Hop & R&B, as mentioned, are "blue" music—as is liking alternative artists or Latin music.

1/ If you order an M3 in Europe today, you get a May delivery date. As per @skabooshka $TSLA hasn't been building EU cars since early March. It's reasonable to assume that all EU cars made have been shipped to the EU by March with no EU cars left in Fremont.
2/ Since shipping to EU + delivering the cars takes 4 weeks at least, vessels to EU for May delivery should depart latest in the first days of May, but better in the end of April. We have ~3 weeks until then.
3/ This means that at a rate of 5k/wk of production, there is certainly less than 3x5k=15k orders from Europe, including new orders and any backlog from Q1 and earlier.
