The #US is directly engaging #GCC on #JCPOA, while FM #Zarif engages #SaudiArabia through #Qatar and #Iraq.

If the #Gulf comes aboard, #Israel and #Republicans will be effectively sidelined.

Clear signs that FM #Zarif is on a mission to lower tensions with #Iran's neighbors, promise them better cooperation, esp with #SaudiArabia #Iraq #Afghanistan, in order to minimize opposition to #JCPOA and isolate #Israel and #Republicans, as #Vienna talks proceed. Here in Iraq:

FM #Zarif is the show. He does an excellent job of making the world's only clerical regime look good. These days he is trying to end #Saudi+#Arab doubts on #JCPOA in order to isolate #Israel and make #Biden's job easier. But overexposure has its downsides:
