In August 2015, as part of an investigation into her e-mails, it was discovered that her e-mail server was connected to the small(ish) Denver company, Platte River Networks.

Apparently between October 2014 to February 2015, Datto and Platte River Networks sent e-mails to each other to figure out where to store the back-up data, eventually deciding on an off-site Datto server against the wishes of Clinton staff.

Datto, Inc. was storing Hillary's e-mail server as a backup without realising it, eventually figuring it out in August 2015. This was because they had charged Platte River Networks for private cloud storage.
