"When I make promises, I keep them"–Trump makes official he's withdrawing from JCPOA Iran nuclear deal. In the same breath, he says "at this very moment, Secy Pompeo is on his way to North Korea" to make a deal with the US. Irony is dead.
Spot-on @camanpour likens Trump's withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal to Bush pulling out of Clinton deal with North Korea. Inspections ended and we ended up with NK building up its nuclear program to the point that Kim's now using nuclear blackmail to get US to come to the table.
Trump's own State Dept said Iran was in compliance w/ JCPOA Iran nuclear deal. It boggles the mind, the neocon swamp is so stuck in the past yet blind to history. Obama worked hard w/ allies to restore trust in US after neocon debacles. Trump just blew it all up…for generations.
