It is stupefying that @sajidjavid has proscribed #Hezbollah’s political wing as a terrorist org. Blatantly clear that such a move is mainly to appease #Israel, the main villain in the region, to align within #US orbit post #Brexit & score political points against #JeremeyCorbyn.+
.2/ The claim by @sajidjavid that #Hezbollah poses a threat to the #UK’s national security is simply a blatant deception. Can he please inform the public, when Hezbollah was a threat to this country and how?
.3/ Lest @sajidjavid forgets #Hezbollah is the largest political bloc in #Lebanon’s coalition Gov. Proscribing it as a terrorist organisation will have little impact on the group, but is an affront to hundreds of thousands of Lebanese from all walks of life who voted them in.
.4/ Contrary to what @sajidjavid declared, it is not Hezbollah which is the cause of destabilisation in the region, but rather the west’s continuous interventions & meddling & its arming & support of governments there, who back terrorism, but seen as friends by his government.
.5/ A note to @sajidjavid, lest he has forgotten, it is Israel that has invaded, bombed, occupied, destroyed, killed & maimed thousands of #Lebanese along the years. It is #Hezbollah that confronted iwithing it’s legal & international right to self defence.
.6/ A final note to @sajidjavid: it is Hezbollah that has been fighting, those evil beheaders, #Isis, in both #Syria & #Lebanon. Had it not been for #Hezbollah together with the #Lebanese army, this tiny country called Lebanon would have long become part of Isis’s caliphate.
