Then your best bet is to vote for an unashamedly pro-Remain party, and use your vote tactically to maximise the chances of pro-Remain MEPs getting in.

Of course, if you can persuade others who might not have voted to go and vote too (maybe go with friends, encourage your family to make an effort, or offer to drive a colleague to the polling station) that's a super effective tactic to boost the pro-Remain vote. Every vote helps!

Added: I've fielded questions about Change UK. I admire what they're trying to do, and their time may come, but their numbers are down in recent polls and the trend's the wrong way. They're unlikely to get over the MEP threshold, so I haven't recommended them as a tactical vote.

And finally: if you're scratching your head about the instructions to "toss a coin" or "roll a die" it's because multiple parties could benefit from a tactical boost, and that's the easiest way I could think of spreading extra votes in roughly the ratio they'll do the most good!
