The Mexican explanation of Trump's claim that they agreed to buy more American agricultural products is... interesting.

"We don’t have a specific agreement on products of that nature," Foreign Minister Ebrard said this morning, per my colleague @AnneClaireCNN.
"The most important Mexican import, or one of the most important, are grains from the U.S. And in Mexico, 1.2 million jobs would be lost. So if the tariffs are applied it would be 5% so if it goes to 10% the impact would be greater," Ebrard told reporters.
"By not applying the tariffs, I’m assuming he’s calculating it would impulse economic growth and that would increase our imports, among them grains. That’s what I believe he’s referring to."
