Although UK flu activity levels were not high last year, impact on 2°care was high due to hospitlisation & ICU admissions

This year looks set to ⬆️ so let's be innovative w/ healthcare WF

UK often mirrors Australian #influenza patterns where so far this year 94,000 cases have been reported - that's 12-fold ⬆️ #flu infections than previous 3 years combined!

We need all hands on deck to prevent similar patterns emerging here in a few months

NHS staff who have their #flu jab, administer #influenza vaccines & educate others about herd immunity will help to protect #patients, colleagues, friends and family from flu this winter
