1) The large outlines of the Russiagate scandal have long been sitting in plain sight:

Trump and his campaign encouraged, sought to benefit from, and worked to conspire with a foreign power’s sweeping effort to corrupt and degrade our political system.

While a good one-liner, this here is an example of the disconnect between what people think is the "incel" mindset and what it actually is.

People keep imagining like, this horde of Steve Urkels who have obvious flaws they need to work on but keep ignoring in favor of working on
whatever stupid trick they read about on a pickup artist forum. People like that ARE out there (especially on said pick-up artist forums), but those guys have zero overlap with "incels."

"Incels" are the guys who are fully aware that they're utterly repellent scumbags, but have
made an active conscious choice, as a matter of what passes for "principle' with these creeps, never to attempt to grow or change in any way.

The reason I keep putting "incels" in quotes is that the whole "unfuckable virgin" image is a pure PR front. Most of them aren't virgins.
