Me : Oh, a comfortable 8k or so. This is quite a Conservative / LibDem area since the '80s and the Conservative MP was forced to an election by petition. You should expect LibDems to smash this one out of the park.

Brecon result is terrible. Even with almost 20% of the local electorate signing a petition against a sitting MP convicted of expenses fiddle with two parties dropping out to support the LibDems in a Con / Lib area ... a Tory + Brexit pact would win - bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-… 
The odds of a Tory + Brexit party pact must have gone through the roof. We could be looking at Boris as PM and Farage as Foreign Secretary.
Remember both Boris + Farage are happy to support an EEA style deal but will go down the path of no deal if needed. The concern should not be brexit though, it's all the other stuff - austerity, tax cuts for wealthy, lack of investment in services - that comes with these parties.
Boris and Farage ... it's not the personalities but the electorate that concerns me. If we're lurching that far to the right then we could even see some Macron style reforms in the UK. That won't be good.
