India needs to refuse to be part of any initiative or event which has the Cold War manufactured term “South Asia.”

Absolutely true. I’ve been planning to write on this. India is separately identifiable even before the landmasses come together to form “Asia.” India is a continent. Love any geologists and geographers to weigh in.
What does the term American mean to you? Isn’t it both a country and a continent. Does it raise sovereignty concerns?
Then why is Europe not a sub-continent?
Scale? The Continent of India has more people than any other continent, twice Europe. Plus it is a separate continental plate, unlike Europe.
