Would almost certainly mean no deal for GB from end 2020 given virtually nobody with trade negotiating experience believes a UK EU FTA could be concluded in 11 months.

It's also completely short sighted given we won't know our own interests in this time.
No extension period to talks almost certainly a guarantee that Brexit will continue to dominate UK politics in 2020.

Repeating all the worst errors of phase 1 of talks.
Just a thought experiment, but what if rather than setting ridiculous arbitrary deadlines we actually thought about what we would want to achieve in a UK EU FTA, and take whatever time that takes?
