1/ Too Many Different Stories.

Here’s my best guess as to what‘s happening. There was a post-WWII Int’l order. Both US parties agreed to service it. They became systemically corrupt when growth changed in the early/mid ‘70s. This accelerated wildly with the end of the Cold War.
2/ The parties & Trump represented systemic & idiosyncratic corruption respectively. Systemic had Rep & Dem flavors. The tattered Int’l order is serviced (barely) by the systemically corrupt but repudiated by the idiosyncratic. The new GOP is moving towards the Idiosyncratic.
3/ We are divided by the following. Some party players benefit from the systemic corruption but are loyal to the two party flavors. Remaining party players want to end the corruption. But they agree on the need to service the Int’l order because of dangers of restarting history.

Invited on a conservative podcast today. We celebrated punk rock as I politilely told them Trump was obviously manifestly unfit for office & I view their parent org as a propaganda arm of the Republican Party. They couldn’t have been more decent to me.

This is how they may win.
My eyes are open. This isn’t my team. But when normal souls who think normal thoughts have to go over to their competitor’s house to have civil constructive discussion, because their own home often hurls poop at any who won’t tow an incoherent party line, loss has to be budgeted.
Don’t get sold the narrative that Trump now owns ALL US Conservatism. He does own a good chunk of it. But there‘s also a new strain of tolerant conservatism that‘s very liberal: relentlessly civil, anti-inequality, pro-logic, pro-gay, pro-weed, pro-free speech & multicultural.

I never knew why the legacy media viewed our honestly discussing religiously motivated terror killings as if such a simple recognition of motive where “phobic” rather than rational. Now I am beginning to understand.
I’m unabashedly on team civilization. Al-Baghdadi was on the other team. The bad guys.

The fact that we‘re not *simple* good guys as we claim doesn’t mean we‘re ISIS. We‘re team civilization and we know that because we examine our own flaws & *crimes*. We‘re still the good guys.

It’s part of China’s overall world domination goal, the AI goal to be completed by 2030.
China has utilized their “Thousand Talents” program to recruit people who’ve gained knowledge in specific industries in the west to help advance the Communist party’s objectives.
In this case, they’ve collaborated with Google’s head of AI, Jeff Dean, who is also a member of CCP-funded Tsinghua University’s computer science advisory committee.

So I was checking out files on this industrial portable PC I got and I opened IE up and google loaded.
I went "wait, this thing isn't on the network, is it? It can't have wifi... I didn't tell it my network..." and only then realized it was 2006 Google.
to be fair I'm never sure what decade it is when I wake up in the morning so 2006 seems as reasonable a year as any.
but yeah, presumably it has Google cached and since it had no network it just loaded the cached version.
