The @theCCCuk #landuse report signals a #tree planting (#agroforestry) revolution. The report calls for public funding & removal of tax barriers to incentivise tree planting on farms. We're working with @FarmWoodForum & @WoodlandTrust to accelerate the take-up of agroforestry.

The report calls for sustainable productivity growth to be “driven by good #agronomy practices & crop breeding rather than farm intensification. A move to #agroecological methods (like in #organic) which work with nature and minimise reliance on chemical inputs will be important.
