Since Kenney is such a fan of Trump he’s recruited a verified Trump campaigner as Minister, is this not the same plan for Alberta?

Seems like it to me.

For that matter, is this not the Scheer plan announced in the Conservative platform?
There is no plan for jobs. Just a transfer of wealth. To the wealthy. And eventual collapse of the system under a mountain of debt.

Under a Kenney, the AB debt is increasing.

Same under provincial PC’s. Same under Harper economics, and Mulroney’s.
This isn’t a funky coincidence. This is conservative economics. Make the wealthy richer and screw the rest until they get so angry they kick conservatives out of office.

It’s a pendulum that has siphoned wealth from the middle class since the 1970’s until economic hardship.
There is no plan for middle class prosperity. Conservatives want to eliminate the middle class. Which is why their economic policies make life less affordable (privatization) while slipping a few more nickels in your pocket.

But look at the wealthy. Their amount money and their earning power has grown exponentially. While the middle & low income class’s has shrunk.
Conservatives don’t want to help anyone economically but themselves. Every opportunity voters have given them, they’ve implemented the same policies, over and over again.

Current financial woes individually and collectively are a result of conservative policies.
It’s a completely fabricated myth that conservatives are good money managers.

For themselves and their rich funders, yes. For everyone else, not so much.

Most of Canada’s debt was created by conservatives since WW2.
Those of generation X & Y and baby boomers who remain employed, are still paying for Mulroney’s debt created in the 80’s & 90’s. We have been paying that debt for our entire working life. And will continue to pay it until we retire.

All so the wealthy could get richer.
Our children, generation Z and our grandchildren, if climate change allows for them to be born, will be paying their entire working life as well. That doesn’t include Harper’s debt. And for Albertans, that doesn’t include the rising debt & cost of living created by privatization.
Look at the numbers yourselves. Every time there is a conservative government in power, the wealth of the rich expands exponentially, while middle and low income earnings have stayed pretty flat. www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/11-626-…
Conservatives have created a brand. An image that is recognizable. Something that the electorate uses to aid in voting determination.

But it’s all smoke and mirrors. Lies. A myth to win your vote.

Wealth distribution Canada has changed drastically since Pierre Trudeau.
While Liberals of the 1960’s and 1970’s brought prosperity to the middle class, conservatives brought the reverse trend.

Here is an old list of Canadian Prime Ministers and the years they were in office. Harper lost election in 2015.

Compare the dates to the above charts.
If you compare the dates, they correspond to the increases and decreases in the top 10%’s share of wealth in Canada. Red it goes down, blue it goes up, and purple it’s flat.

Chrétien and Martin were both Blue Liberals. Economic policies that more closely resembled PC’s.
That’s no accident. A conservative or blue Liberal has been in power for the last 40 years. Precisely the time the middle class has been hollowed out, poverty grew and the transfer of wealth to the richest occurred. Check the graphs.
Notice how the net worth of bottom 3 quintiles fell or stayed flat, while the increases in top two quintiles occurred. Look at the dates.
These graphs make it more clear. From this report on inequality.

policyalternatives.ca/sites/default/…
These graphs from the same report show the exact timing of the decline. Bear in mind, 1980 saw a global decrease from a difficult recession. The downward trend in wages starts in earnest in mide 1980’s. Mulroney was elected in 1984.
Redistribution of wealth decreases drastically from economic impact of the recession, but never recovers when the economy recovers. In fact it continues a downward trend. Until a change in governing party in 1993.
Stop buying into party branding. Public Relations isn’t truth. It’s post truth and based on building loyalty.

Conservatives, since Mulroney, have added debt, redistributed wealth to the wealthy, & flattened wages. Cons don’t govern for the middle class, only for the wealthy.
