1/ A couple days ago, I posted a lengthy thread—and made it my pinned tweet—laying out a small piece of the Trump-China scandal (so you won't think I'm blowing smoke; I know many of you read this thread). The Turkey stuff I've called "the worst thing Trump has done as president."
2/ The Trump-Turkey scandal, as I've researched it, is *so* bad that it's the one that could lead to Trump being prosecuted for war crimes—specifically, knowing complicity with genocide for *personal profit*.
It is, again, the literal worst thing—by far—Trump has done in office.

3/ More importantly, that part of the Trump-Turkey scandal that is already known has been *roundly condemned* by *both* parties—something we famously didn't have with Russia and Ukraine (though we 100% should have).

4/ I just assumed the Trump-Turkey scandal would drop during the general election and make it impossible for Trump to be re-elected (absent foreign interference). It coming out now gives the GOP one final (eleventh hour) chance to choose the off-ramp and dump Trump pre-primaries.
