Israel opened a short time period for Arabs to return. In reality, only 14,000 of 100,000 were allowed to return. 130,000 Syrians were pushed out by Syria. Egypt made peace during the 1978 Camp David Accords. Israel & Jordan signed a peace treaty in 1994 (I was there!). /5
Israeli settled many Israelis in the West Bank. Arab refugees live in refugee camps up to the present time. During the present Syrian War, many Syrians fled to Jordan. Jordan is overburdened with refugees and can't afford it. The US could help. /6
President Clinton facilitated the peace between Jordan & Israel. He was impeached, but it is clear that he was instrumental in forging peace. Now we have 45 purposely shaking up the peace. He needs to be impeached before he causes a war. /7
The Camp David Accords that accomplished peace between Israel and Egypt were forged by President Carter. Anwar El Sadat & Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin won the Nobel Peace Prize. /8
Great presidents forge peace. 45 is severely deficient in the peace arena. Derives pleasure in stirring up trouble. If Carter & Clinton could assist in forging peace after the 6 day war, peace w/ North Korea is possible. Instead 45 tweets derogatory comments about Kim Jong-un. /8
Jared Kushner has self interested ties to Israeli settlers. (Why aren't we suprised?) Based on the history described & additional events, moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem would be a slap in the face to the Arab world. Is that what we want? To turn Arab sentiment against us? /9
I've noticed King Abdullah II has made many visits to the US. It is not usually noticed by MSM. I see it in foreign papers. He has met with Pence. King Abdullah is very intelligent. The Hashemites are the 2nd oldest ruling dynasty in the world. He went to H.S. in the US. /10
He went to Sandhurst, a 2nd LT. in the British army, school through H.S. in England, went to Sandhurst. Served in British Army a year. Went to Oxford. Flew Cobra helicopters (when my HUSBAND met him!) Went to Georgetown to study international affairs, the best. /11
Took a course in defense management at US Naval Academy school. Introduced reforms. Went incognito to check on government institutions. Abolished the Hamas. Al-Qaeda had a hit on him. 9/11 was severely criticized by him. He enacted counterterrorism legislation as a result. /12
He is the best US ally! He has thwarted terrorist attacks on US! Against the Iraq attack saying it would destabilize the Middle East. Jordan remained neutral, but allowed US Patriot batteries to be stationed along the Iraq border. He gave WOMEN a six-seat quota in parliament.
