(2 of 2) What's odd is the article threatens Clinton, saying if she wins the presidency her scandals "will live on"—the same threat (implying future Clinton-case leaks, likely by the FBI) that prompted Comey to write a letter to Congress the same day the article appeared. So—odd.
Update/ Looks like The Washington Examiner wrote the piece as a board editorial, then at some point after FNC linked to it on 10/27/16 changed both the title of the editorial and its web address for reasons unknown—which change necessitated FNC deleting the article this February.
Note/ I was looking at this—and other things—because if the IG report is honest and incisive, there's a real chance it'll find the Trump campaign was connected to the leak threat that forced the Comey letter. So I'm looking at who and what Trump was amplifying in the days before.
