Should I get a #BlueTick?

Main reason I am thinking thinking of doing this is that my tweets aren't being seen as much as they should. This will allow more people to see my #FB tweets and get more followers.

#FBPE #FBPA #FBPPR #FBPR #FBNHS #FBR #StrongerTogether
Now I wish I had Blue Tick then I could have edited the tweet to remove the 2nd thinking ๐Ÿ˜€

NHS Federation states: #HumanitarianCrisis #HumanCatastrophe to describe the coming winter through the #ToryCostOfLivingCrisis #NationalHealthCrisis #EnoughIsEnough #EnoughIsEnough

this is a damning indictment if ever there was one!
the NHS Federation has written to govt to highlight an "impending humanitarian crisis" over winter in health of UK citizens #EnoughlsEnough #SocialistSunday

THREAD: On 10th March 2022 I created a thread on the energy crisis, warning that the elderly, sick, housebound & disabled I deliver medicines to, would not survive this coming winter, now this:
the NHS Federation states: "If people cannot afford to heat their homes & cannot afford nutritious food, their health will quickly deteriorate". I keep saying here, that people will die as a direct result of govt refusing to step in over the health & security of the nation.
please remember, small businesses, which form the bedrock of society & employ millions upon millions of UK citizens, cannot pass on anywhere between 300% and 1,100% increases in costs to customers, without losing custom & further exacerbating inflation = UNEMPLOYMENT

they are going to bin the GDPR and grab our NHS data just as they attend the US private healthcare conference in Vegas, whilst forcing us all to utilise the Palantir healthcare app that will scrape all our personal data

IF IT's MILD

why has army been called in to vaccinate,
drive ambulances
& HGVs

why is the govt desperately trying to recruit teachers who've left / retired

reducing the self isolation period from 10 to 7 days

asking hospitals to prepare for mass casualty events next month
how are hospitals going to separate out #Omicron from #Delta patients, given both can infect you at the same time - they are *separate* variants

we don't need a #Delta #Omicron super variant where the *supposed* mild #Omicron combines with the deadlier #Delta variant!!!!!!!
I could really go on, but I just can't

oh, except to say

why the *fuck* aren't all hospital staff being issued with FPP3 masks

who will care for us, if 50% of hospital staff end up isolating 2 weeks from now, when everyone rings 999 after xmas mixing

#FBPE #FBNHS. To: the people complaining about masks/mitigation. No, Covid might not kill you - though it might: depends on your physical health including conditions you might not know you have, such as silent hypertension or coronary artery disease. But that's not the point.
The point is that if they're infected, and ill, the people YOU rely on without even thinking about it, can't do their jobs. If ONE train driver is infected and off work, it's no big deal. What if many are? If ONE delivery driver for a supermarket can't drive, no issue. But . . .
what if many are? What if many bin collectors are off? What if many supermarket workers are off? What if many teachers are off? But more importantly, what if many health staff and carers are off with this so called "mild version of Covid" (and we don't know how mild it is yet)?

I've screenshot this exchange amongst friends in my circle, because I don't think enough people have caught on to the enormity of this yet. Raab has let it slip there'll be insurance products to buy for social care to avoid selling your home. This, despite more than 10% NIC rise

When government policy is not evidence based and is not in the interest of the patient...we must speak out.

As panic gripped a rudderless nation, worst-case scenarios were being projected and simulations cast doom over the healthcare serviceโ€™s ability to cope, the relative unknown fatality of this new infection foraging the globe loomed over our heads.
It was March 2020, and within this culture of fear, speculation became an acceptable basis for decision-making. Fear of needing to ration became rationing itself; protecting the NHS became failing to protect the people, and government policy suddenly became 'clinical guidelinesโ€™

#COVID19 UK thread:

Why has the UK mortality been so high?

Overall mortality of the pandemic can be measured as total deaths.

Deaths per 100k inhabitants:

UK - 205
Sweden - 144
Germany - 113
Ireland - 103
Norway - 16
Japan - 14
Singapore - 2 (yes, two)

1/n
So why has the UK had more deaths?

Sweden pursued a herd immunity strategy. Germany had a similar public health response to the UK. Both have done much better than the UK.

if you get Covid-19 in the UK, you have a higher chance of dying. Why?
The first FATAL flaw of the UK response was the โ€œstay homeโ€ approach.

Instead of triaging (assessing) covid cases, the UK opted to make NO routine clinical contact with ANY covid cases. UK national policy relies on the patient to come forward if severely unwell.

NO TRIAGE
