I don't like the IHRA. But it a small part in the jigsaw. I believe recognition of most antisemitic incidents does not demand any particular position on Israel/Palestine. These posters are a contrary example - where people argue if it is or isn't. But it's an exception. >>
Most of the incidents so far - could be called out regardless of one's position on Israel. And had the Labour leadership been clear and forceful about these cases, we'd be in a very different place. That's what is needed now. >>
So if the leadership recognised and disavowed conspiracy theories, "fifth column", "traitor within", Judas references, etc etc, then we could take them more seriously. So far - we're not there yet.
