1) Ladies and gentlemen, BEHOLD! The funniest fucking thread in the history of Twitter.
2) What is the humor? That Hillary Clinton still thinks she's relevant? Funny, but no, that's not the funniest aspect of it.
3) The thing that is so knee-slappingly hilarious is that Clinton, who lets be fair probably has a pretty good idea of where things are going for the Democrats, has just signaled exactly what those predicting the red tide in November have been saying.
4) That Democrats are about to become a state-level party. They're about to get absolutely annihilated in 2 weeks.
5) See, there's a bit of history that you all need to sit down and learn. This is important. Take a knee everyone, Kaepernick style, and listen close.
6) The Democrats tale of their history is that there was a great switch, an exchange of power and bases. Oh, sure, Democrats were evil and racist, but those were the OLD Democrats in the Jim Crow years. They became Republicans and the good Republicans in the north became Dems
7) This is, of course, mostly horseshit. Parties didn't change territory until decades later. Look up the election history of southern states and capital cities; enlightening. What DID change, in a general sense, was the platforms. Specifically, the platform of the Democrat party
8) This motherfucker sees what I'm about to say. Good on 'em.
9) See, the Republicans in general have had a pretty stable platform since their birth in the lead up to the Civil War. Respect the constitution. Do things get a bit murky sometimes? Yes (*cough* Patriot Act *cough*).
10) Protip: Bipartisanship USUALLY means the Dems have talked some Republicans into a fucking awful idea.
11) But, as the Constitution at its core tends to favor states rights except to protect citizens from the predation of even state governments upon their individual rights, Republicans are generally states rights advocates.
12) Democrats, however, at their core, have a platform of the abuse and entrapment of populations for the sake of their own power. As such, they alternate between states rights and empowering the federal government as best suits their needs at the time.
13) Now, they won't SAY that outright of course. But this result of their policies is so consistent that this may as well be their public platform.
14) Slavery. Tenant farming. Jim Crow laws. Separate but equal. Illegal immigration to create a new poverty-stricken underclass. The Democrat party inherently has not changed, all that has changed is the routes they use to create this inherent societal power imbalance.
15) For example, Separate but Equal was a doctrine that they pushed for in which the states had the right to implement such laws. The illegal immigration fight right now is something the Democrats are trying to wage at the state level, actively defying federal authority.
16) Hillary's thread in which she is advocating for a return to power at the state and local level is the first official statement by a major Democrat party figure advocating states rights, something that Obama tried to pave over in his march for federal authoritarianism.
17) This is a tacit admission that Democrats are about to attempt to return to its Jim Crow era. That they will fight tooth and nail to defend the rights of states to abuse segments of its citizenry for their own power and benefit.
18) Now, remember, the Republican platform has historically been states rights except where the rights of the individuals has been usurped and trampled upon by states.

This is what will define our political battles over the next decade.
19) The Democrats will retreat to their city strongholds and coastal blue states as they're crushed nationwide, and they will begin to advocate for policies that are ultimately self-destructive and harmful to vast swathes of their populations.
20) Republicans will be painted as authoritarians as we tell the State's Rights Democrats, as they were so often known in the Civil Rights era, that no, they cannot allow foreign murderers to wander free when they assault and kill Americans.
21) Republicans will be painted as authoritarians as we tell State's Rights Democrats that yes, minimum wage and working conditions apply to brown people too, no matter what language they speak.
22) And then, after decades in the political wilderness, Democrats will come back state by state and claim that the magic switch happened, that the evil Democrats became Republicans and so the Republicans are evil again, and some faux-savior Democrat POTUS playing jazz flute
23) Will make his way into office, fuck up decades of foreign policy, fuck every intern in sight, fuck up our trade deals, and institute policies that cripple and criminalize entire populations... and then blame Republicans for being racist bad people when he's called on it.
24) 2018 is history repeating itself. The MSM won't admit it, the Democrats won't admit it, but what's about to happen is the utter annihilation from orbit of the Democrat party at the federal level.

Its 2050 that we need to worry about, after 3 decades of GOP dominance.
25) So, 30 years from now, get ready. Those are the Democrats to be scared of. The smooth talking pretty boys emerging with some fresh new non-platform against a GOP they call old and decrepit. The ones we have now are hysterical psych patients literally throwing feces at us. /e
