2.5 years after Grenfell, there seems to be no urgency or appetite to resolve this #claddingscandal.
Last night, a new fire in Bolton at student accommodation. Thankfully it seems no serious injury.

For the students who live there, but also for those of us living in buildings with flammable cladding (whether ACM or otherwise), this is anxiety-inducing of another order. #claddingscandal

Hoping everyone caught up in the #boltonfire last night is ok, no doubt terrified. Wish you all well and hope there is an almighty effort to ensure you all are into safe homes quickly.
This excellent piece by @xtophercook is on the fundamental State failures & cosy complicities which have led govts to fear upsetting vested interests on fire safety.
