My take on the recent Delhi Violence and Protest.

Views are personal, kindly give your inputs and suggestions so that such law and order situations should not happen again, anywhere.

1. Debate, discussion and dissent are essential parts of democracy but, violent protests shouldn't be encouraged at any cost, by anyone, be it a student, politician, or a common person.
2. Strict action should be taken on the people spotted in the video destroying public property, all sections related to such crimes, should be put on such people, so that tomorrow, people don't try to repeat such a thing.
3.The fear of police/forces/gov has significantly reduced & people now understnd that if they create a lawNorder situation alongwith a big group nothing willHappen to them, this notion needs to fade away.Any group/individual, taking lawNorder in hand should be penalised as per law
4. The National Capital is burning, not a good sign for a developing country, situation needs immediate tough measures, I guess, it is not a difficult thing to take control if Amit Shah ji takes over the situation, he is so capable that he can manage any situation well, easily.
5. The University/College/Institute should be accountable for the acts of their students, just like a family is accountable for their kids behavior.
6. The overall loss of public property and other related things should be calculated and along with a fine, should be imposed on the University/College/Institute Administration, they have to produce responsible citizens and should be responsible for the acts of their students.
7. A guideline/advisory should be immediately issued to all the University/College/Institute Administration, stating clearly that, none of their students/employees should be allowed to leave the campus in office hours (usually 9am-6pm).
8. After office hours, students doing any protest, should be seen as an act done by normal citizen. Moreover, if the students leave the campus after office hours, they should be required to enter the details as to when and where they are going, and when will they come back.
9. Biometric attendance should be mandatory for all in the morning as well as in the evening, if anyone is absent and later on reported to be a part of any violent situation, action can be taken on him/her.
10.Moreover, if the VC/Director/Principal of the University/Institute/College,can't control students,it is their failure, they should be swapped wid someone else who can control the situation better. It will be good to make people having Defense backgrounds the heads of such insts
11. Institutes prone to violent protests must be guarded with paramilitary forces like #CRPF, JNU/AMU/JamiyaMilia etc, should have more security, and students should not be allowed to leave the campus in big groups.
12.All the data of the students must be updated centrally by the institute, regular offenders should be required to bring their parents to the institute who should sign an undertaking that their wards will not do any mischief again, failing which action should be taken against dem
I guess, the situation needs immediate attention and can be controlled very easily, if proper laws are implemented on everyone equally, without seeing people as students/politicians/normal citizen etc.

Kindly provide critical comments/feedback/suggestions.
