The video could kill someone—but here are Trump's FALSE WORDS: "A drug called chloroquine—and some people would add to it, hydroxychloroquine—so chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine...it's been around for a long time, so if things don't go as planned it's not going to kill anybody."

STATEMENT/ Here's a further statement from the Arizona woman (who is herself in the ICU) whose husband Trump's misinformation killed:
MORE/ When CNN reported on chloroquine they didn't do as Trump did (lie): "Perhaps demonstrating why health officials are urging caution—saying chloroquine requires further clinical study...Nigeria has reported 3 overdoses...since the drug entered the [coronavirus] conversation."
MORE2/ I mention this because undoubtedly Trump's defenders will try to find media that referenced chloroquine. But if you read those stories, a) they don't falsely say the drug is FDA approved for coronavirus (as Trump did) and b) they don't say "it's not going to kill anybody."
MORE3/ Moreover c) as Trump often crows about, most of his followers don't *watch* other media besides him and—at the outside—FNC. He's well aware of this. He's *proud* of this. So by no means does *he* think his followers are listening to anyone but him. And then he does *this*.
