2 non Iraqi #ISIS commanders are expected to lead the group: Abu abdel rahman al-Jazrawi (#Saudi) or Abu Abdallah al-Faransi. #ISIS will need a few months to recover
With Baghdadi killed, #ISIS will not start its operations until re-organised first.

In this case, there is no need for the #US forces to keep forces in #Syria oil fields to protect these from #ISIS.

In the next hours, there will be many "fathers" who contributed and collaborated in killing #ISIS leader al-Baghdadi.

Just keep in mind he was in #Idlib, the biggest concentration city in the Middle East of jihadists.

Any future #ISIS leader should be a Qurayshi, a descendent of the Quraysh tribe that historically inhabited and controlled Mecca (#SaudiArabia) and its Ka'aba. The Islamic prophet Muhammad was born into the Hashemite clan of the tribe.

There is a possibility Abu Mohammad al-Joulani (ex- #ISIS Emir who turned against his boss, joined al-Qaeda and later formed his own group with the same AQ ideology) is also a contributor to his killing by offering info on #Baghdadi's presence in #Idlib, the city Joulani controls
Here is another "father" claiming its credit in the killing of most probably )until confirmation by US President) Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, #ISIS leader.

The #YPG withdrawal from Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye) will lead to the Turkish control of the city and the impossibility for the Syrian Army to recover it soon.

Erdogan-Putin' meeting This Tuesday may lead to freeze the military operation NE Syria.
The Syrian #Kurds withdrawal indicates two points:
1. They are not good fighters they have pretended to be, incapable of holding the city
2. Accepted @realDonaldTrump "cease fire" to withdraw & deliver to #Turkey without fighting what @RTErdogan wanted.

News are so fast:

The Syrian Army is in Manbij now. Another Syrian Army force heading towards the Turkish advance supported by Syrian #Kurds.
It only needed the announcement of the #US withdrawal to put the end of the war in #Syria on a fast track in no time.

#Kurds agreed on all requested points by #Damascus and #Russia is the guarantor.

#Kurds have become part of the #Syria/n security allied forces.
The Syrian Army agreed to take in hand all #ISIS prisoners, families and those on the run.

#Europe will have to deal with #Damascus now.

The question is how did Baghdadi get to and survive in Barisha, #Idlib 20 mins from the border with Turkey, (with nearby Turkish bases) surrounded by rival Jihadi leaders with a $25 million price tag on his head? Or maybe that’s the point... he didn’t survive.

In July, a @UN report warned senior ISIS leaders "are among those who have made their way to the #Idlib area..."
@UN Abu Bakr al #Baghdadi most recent messages: a video from April 29 & an audio message from September 16

But for someone like Baghdadi sending out messages always comes with a risk...
After the release of the audio in September, BrigGen Len Anderson, deputy commander of JTF-Ares, told VOA:
"The more videos that come out gives us, quite honestly, another opportunity to assess, to see what #ISIS leadership is thinking & maybe gather some intelligence from that"

1)Breaking: Reports that #ISIS leader #Baghdadi killed in a #US op in #Idlib, #Syria. No official confirmation yet. ISIS silent on the matter thus far. Tho various reports in the past claimed his death, this claim def carries more weight.
2) If confirmed, Baghdadi’s death is a huge blow to #ISIS & its intern network. However, based on group's history (death of Zarqawi & other leaders), ISIS has illustrated its operational resiliency, and will def capitalize on Baghdadi’s death for recruitment & calls for attacks
3) Tho #Idlib would not be first guess as to his whereabouts, it’s not surprising at all. #Syria was #ISIS' stronghold in the country, and it’s leadership still holds prominence in region. Idlib is still a hub of various jihadi groups including #AQ affiliates.

Big news from the latest @UN report on #ISIS/#alQaida was ISIS' rebuild strategy and that much of it is being directed by Abu Bakr al-#Baghdadi out of Iraq

But there are a number of other interesting observations in the report...
On #alQaida, the @UN intelligence suggests the group although the health of AQ leader Ayman al-Zawahiri & AQ's succession plan "are in doubt"
The @UN report also concludes #alQaida-aligned groups "are stronger than their #ISIL [#ISIS] counterparts in #Idlib, #Syria|n Arab Republic, #Yemen, #Somalia and much of West #Africa"
