Good: #YPG (armed Syrian #Kurds) pulls back 30-32 km wide but that doesn't mean #Turkey will take the area. #Russia is the guarantor and 1999 Adana agreement will be updated.

#Syria #Damascus (#Tehran in the shade) already proposed and discussed the points negotiated today between Presidents Putin and Erdogan during the six hours meeting.

#Turkey wants the Syrian government to speed the constitution reforms, a requested supported by Russia and Iran

#Russia and #Turkey patrols will make sure all #YPG have abandoned the targeted area.

Armed #Kurds have 150 hours to withdraw, that means ceasefire extended.

But above all it means #US forces are out for good.

The update of Adana agreement will widen the area permitted for #Turkey to push forces into the Syrian territory.

But Adana also included the recognition of #Damascus of the #YPG, the Syrian branch of the PKK, as a terrorist organisation. That will be tricky to manage.

I can conclude:

The #Russia Putin- #Turkey Erdogan meeting was successful and a win-win situation for everybody, including the #US but excluding #Israel, #YPG #ISIS and #AlQaeda.

#YPG returned to the 2011 era but with disappointment and bad choices of alliances 2016-2019.
