France, Germany & the UK trigger Iran nuclear deal dispute mechanism

This follows five major step-backs by #Iran on its 2015 nuclear deal commitments & saying they no longer acknowledge any obligations, especially on uranium enrichment

Under the mechanism outlined in the deal, the EU would then inform the other parties - Russia and China as well as Iran itself. There would then be 15 days to resolve the differences, a deadline which can be extended by consensus.

The process can ultimately lead to a “snapback” - the reimposition of sanctions in place under previous UN resolutions.
The initial statement issued by EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell once again shows an endless pursuit of appeasement vis-a-vis the regime in #Iran.

 Following today's decision by France, Germany & the UK to trigger the 2015 Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) dispute mechanism, it is important to take a look back at #Iran's numerous JCPOA violations.

 If any party to the deal believes Iran has violated the agreement, they can trigger a dispute resolution process that could, within as few as 65 days, end at the UN Security Council with a so-called snapback of UN sanctions on Iran.

This is truly a sad day for the Democratic Party in the U.S.

It reminds me of how Obama turned his back on us back in 2009.

We Iranians don't want the U.S. to start a war against the regime. We hate war.

We just ask the world to stand along our side & not appease the mullahs.
Unfortunately, as Democrats blocked a House resolution in support of the Iranian people, #Iran's regime dispatched the IRGC paramilitary Basij to attack college students tonight.

Like it or not, the ruthless mullahs were encouraged by the Democrats...
