🚨Mitch McConnell Received Donations From Dominion.🚨
•Mitch McConnell quashed two election integrity bills in July last year after receiving thousands in donations from Dominion lobbyists.

In July, McConnell blocked two bills, one that would provide $775 million to “bolster election security,” along with requiring a physical paper trail of every single ballot cast in the country.
Also blocked a second that would mandate political candidates, their staff members, and their families, to notify the FBI if any foreign government offered to assist them.

I want to explain this, since @marcorubio is spreading more COVID disinformation. (After pushing to the front of the line for vaccines.) Fauci hasnt lied once. Marco is too stupid to understand science. When more data arrives in science, recommendations change../1 March, when Fauci said masks not necessary except in places of high infection rates (hospitals etc), COVID was though to be like other diseases caused by coronaviruses (a type of virus, not solely COVID.) Those primarily spread by hand. Also, no one knew COVID was.../2

Let’s be serious for a moment, the issue isn’t the meager $600 #Congress “graciously” decided to give the American citizens, the mere pittance that does nothing to alleviate the financial burden foisted upon them during this year. It is the fact that government, be it local, 1/
state, or federal, created a massive financial crisis by deciding for Americans how we ought to live, or not live. Borders were closed; cities, counties and states were shut down; businesses were arbitrarily decided to be “unessential”; people were locked away from each other 2/
and told they were selfish if they wished to go anywhere or do anything. This was destructive to the nation as a whole, economically and mentally. Those few persons, those elected officials who are to be our representatives, who are supposed to work for us, chose to become 3/

Most of you know that wages in the United States have remained stagnant since 1980, when adjusted for inflation. Do you realize, however, that the US is a global #empire and that we are likely witnessing the fall of that empire?

That's right, the US has political or... 1/16
#military control of much of the world. That comes from military support of dictatorships and right wing leaders throughout Central and South America, throughout #Africa and in parts of #Asia, such as India and the Philippines. But that also includes economic control, and... 2/16
economically, we also have a huge amount of control (although not total) over most of #Europe and some of the countries in Asia where we don't have political/military control.

Our "capitalist" system has been corrupted and subverted by the forces of greed. Our once... 3/16

SPECIAL REPORT: For most Americans, the $1,200 #stimuluscheck didn’t even cover #rent and a third of #American renters haven't paid rent yet this month, meaning an ongoing de facto rent strike is likely already taking place.
By: @AlanRMacLeod…
@realDonaldTrump pumped $1.5 trillion into the stock market. Recent study of the #CARESAct found that 82 percent of benefits will go to the 43,000 Americans who earn over $1 million per year, with less than three percent going to those making less than $100,000.
The median rent in the #US is $1,000, meaning most of the country’s $1,200 check was spent before received. A third of Americans did not pay rent at the beginning of the month, meaning there is an ongoing, de facto #rent strike taking place.

SPECIAL REPORT: A number of the planet’s richest people, including #BILLIONAIRE co-founder of @PayPal @peterthiel, are escaping to New Zealand to shelter in luxury bunkers amid the #COVID 19 #pandemic.
By: @AlanRMacLeod
The new range of luxury private bunkers are dug deep underground in the countryside and are covered with earth, the point being that even neighbors will have no idea that they are there, let alone the general public.

Prices tend to start around $2 million and can reach up to $11 million for units that include luxury bathrooms, gun ranges, and swimming pools. Thiel himself chose instead to buy a bizarre-looking, $4.7 million home replete with a secure panic room.

SPECIAL ANALYSIS: This #coronavirus pandemic has laid bare the exclusion of whole subsets of the most vulnerable in our society, exemplifying the toxic mix of racism, sexism, imperialism, and capitalism that the #USA blends so well.

A Pew Research report from last year estimates that there are some 10.5 million undocumented people in the United States. Many, if not most of these folks, find seasonal or full-time subsistence wage jobs in industries we now deem “essential.”

They build families, pay taxes, contribute socially, politically, and economically to their new home places. They pay billions into a system that profits doubly off their labor: by excluding these workers from any federal, state, or local assistance.

Things I am over - hypocrisy and inconsistency

1) If peaceful #protest on the steps of government buildings is a right, than it also is on a football field #TakeAKnee, in a park, etc

#Thread #equity #rant (1/8)
2) If we ban #guns from some buildings in the interest of security, that means for all people - not just those that aren't white

3) If #BlueLivesMatter, do not risk our brave protectors’ health by protesting near them without #masks

#MichiganProtest (2/8)
4) If you are not wearing #facemasks given your personal #liberty, than why do women not get extended the same for #Reproductiverights

5) If all life is sacred, than why would we sacrifice 2-3% of our population by #ReopenAmerica too quickly?

Please check with elderly & disabled people & see if they've filed for a #StimulusCheck. If they don't file tax returns, they won't get a check unless they file on IRS website. Also, some people don't have internet. I've filed for 3 people past 2 days. Help everyone you can! 🙏
Here is the link to the IRS website where non-filers can apply.…
The website says the following people automatically will get the money, but 2 people I know have not received it, so we filed at the IRS website.

Social Security, SSDI, survivor benefits, SSI, Recipients of Veterans Affairs benefits, & Railroad Retirement benefits.

THREAD: A Parker mom woke up this morning to find a huge surprise in her bank account. She got her full stimulus check, and another transaction, that’s putting her life on hold. @KDVR #stimuluspayment
Here are the two transactions from her @BankofAmerica app. They both came in early this morning before she woke up. @KDVR #stimuluspayment Image
So now her bank account looks like this. The #ProblemSolvers got in touch with BoA, and they’re investigating. It comes at a time where banks are dealing with thousands of requests related to people’s #Stimuluscheck. @KDVR Image

If banks deploying @SBAgov funds (ie @BankofAmerica) by prioritizing people who they already loan to, MAKE NO MISTAKE about who will be left out of this equation. If you don't already know facts on this, here's a primer:

"Black applicants were rejected at more than double the rate of non-Hispanic white applicants on all types of loans, including conventional mortgages"

Imagine that.

cc @andreperryedu @binajv @KeithMestrich
The overall rate of denials of mortgage applications from blacks was 18.4%...with 13.5% for Hispanics and 10.6% for Asians. For non-Hispanic whites, it was 8.8%.

The federal govt (@SBAgov) cannot allow distribution of this aid to magnify and exacerbate the bias already present.

This will not have the impact on #housing that you think that it might. This is insufficient.
...“we can still get evicted after that moratorium is lifted if we're so behind on everything, that we don't have all of the back #rent ready? What if the landlord doesn't want to work with the tenant on paying them back in increments..?"
“it’s like a #rent “loan”. It helps in the beginning, but you better hope you make 2-3 times the amount when you're allowed to go back to work -otherwise you'll be in rent debt. It’s basically kind of a #housing band-aid.”
