Sean Hannity campaigning with Trump triggers at least the fourth time in 18 months Fox staffers have said anonymously that they are shocked at the poor ethics of their colleagues.

Either accept what you are a part of or move on. cnn.com/2018/11/06/med…
The quotes in these stories are interchangeable: Shock that Fox is allowing this to happen, dismay that it will affect the reputation of the news side, questions about why the network isn't reining in Hannity.
And the easy explanation is always the same: Fox prioritizes the Hannitys because the Fox business model is right-wing propaganda. The reporters are there so that Fox executives can respond to criticism by pointing to them.
Fox's response to the Hannity debacle was to try to calm down the news side by praising them and getting Hannity to tweet that he doesn't consider them part of the "fake news." mediamatters.org/blog/2018/11/0…
There's no apology or promise that Hannity won't do this again. You know why? Because if Hannity wants to do it again, Fox is going to let him do it. Because they actually care about whether they keep him around.
The "news" side people will either blow off steam to reporters at other networks and keep cashing their checks, or leave and be replaced. Fox's audience is not going to watch CNN or Newsmax or whatever if those people aren't around any more.
Frankly, the audience hasn't receded when the network lost primetime hosts like Kelly or O'Reilly either. But sanctions against a host who has Trump's ear while Trump is in the White House seem incredibly unlikely.
Fox executives don't care what their news staffers think.

They don't care what the rest of the media thinks.

They care what their advertisers think.
If you somehow took a job at Fox without knowing what the deal was, and still haven't figured it out, I don't know what to tell you.

If you do understand but are sticking around because you have to pay a mortgage, perhaps you should admit that to yourself.
Fox isn't suddenly going to become a normal media outlet that doesn't push conspiracy theories and holds its entire staff to basic media ethics.

That's not how any of this works.
