How are things in the ground here in #Turkey?- Sprits high, Most people are optimistic with positive outlook. Due RJ it’s geostrategic position the country has seen and been through so much that they don’t get “rattled” easily. Actually it is amazing!
Meant “on” the ground- not in;-)
It is like vaccination effect: Historically going through so much gets people tougher-stronger; immuned to fear-pessimism-getting rattled easily.
Think about it:many wars, world wars,Several Coups, Terrorism, economic terrorism, monarchy, democracy, lempire, Part Europe-Part Asia, NATO Member, multi ethnic multi heritage make up ... yet, here it is, still standing, maintaining sense of humor,surviving it all. Fascinating!
