[1] That is what the Leader of the Free World has done with his ill-considered decision: hospital bombing #Assad & hospital bombing #Putin are supposed to protect #Kurdish hospitals in #Syria from hospital bombing #Erdogan.

[2] Minorities have been suffering under the Assad regime for decades. The US President has now driven them into the arms of their executioners to escape ethnic cleansing. The #Ezidis should therefore consider giving up their homeland in #Syria altogether, as they did in #Turkey

[3] With only some 800,000 members worldwide, the #Ezidis have no choice but to leave their homeland in order to survive and escape the endless wars, in which they have no chance of survival.

[4] 99% of the #Ezidis from #Turkey fled to #Europe in the 80s and 90s. There, they received peace, freedom, security and the chance for education for the first time in more than 1,000 years.

[5] The #Ezidis had neither a military, political nor economic power with which they could represent a decisive factor in the wars or political struggles in the Middle East. Instead, they are always dependent on the help of a protecting power.

[6] In 2014, they were completely betrayed by one of these protecting powers and became victims of a persistent genocide in #Iraq. #Ezidis must realize that, as courageous as their struggle for survival may have been, they have no chance of survival in the Middle East.

[7] The only hope for the #Ezidi minority was #Rojava, where, for the first time in the history of the Middle East, the explicit protection of the Ezidis and their religion was constitutionally anchored.

[8] Anyone who has spoken to #Ezidis in #Rojava knows that for the first time they have felt like full citizens again. Other minorities, including women, also had this feeling of security for the first time. But this status was simply thrown overboard by POTUS.
